The 2027 VFW Washington Conference will be Feb. 27-March 4, 2027, in Washington, D.C.
For nearly 75 years, the VFW's annual Washington Conference has provided an opportunity for VFW Department representatives from each state to personally lobby their respective lawmakers and watch as the VFW's current Commander-in-Chief testifies on Capitol Hill before a joint session of the House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees on behalf of veterans.
Since 1964, the VFW's Congressional Award has been presented annually to one sitting member of the House or Senate for their significant legislative contributions on behalf of those who have worn the uniform. Attendees also often hear from guest speakers who are invited to discuss important veterans' issues.
Heeding the call to continue our advocacy "One Team. One Mission. Veterans First." VFW and VFW Auxiliary members will pack the house alongside Commander-in-Chief Cory Geisler as he testifies before a special joint hearing of the House and Senate Committees on Veterans’ Affairs.
Even if you can't join us in Washington, be part of the 2027 VFW Washington Conference conversation by following #VFWDC2027 on social media platforms.
