WASHINGTON – With 2023 drawing to a close, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) extends a heartfelt season’s greetings and its warmest wishes for a peaceful holiday season to all of our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families and advocates. While we enjoy togetherness and celebrate this festive time of year, let us keep a candle lit in our minds and hearts for the thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and Guardians who will spend this special time away from friends, family and home.
Today, and every day, we remain thankful for their service. It’s because of their selflessness that we’re able to celebrate from the comfort and safety of our own homes.
